Diatomaceous Earth is a fine, tasteless powder formed from the fossilized microscopic remains of algae-like plants called diatoms.
It has a variety of uses including internal detoxing. Diatomaceous earth cleans your intestines and digestive tract from heavy metals, bacteria and pathogens as well as helping to eliminate intestinal worms, intestinal parasites, and other dangerous micro-organisms.
The silica in diatomaceous earth helps reduce the accumulation of waste and improve gut health, while improving gastrointestinal disorders. Mix 1 tps in 8 oz of water and drink 1-2 x a day.
This powder helps relieve skin issues such as acne and dry skin when used in face scrubs or masks.
Use in flower and vegetable gardens to get rid of pests.
Use it on carpets, upholstery, or anywhere else you think bugs or pests may be lurking. Brush or vacuum the area first, then spread a light film of DE over the whole surface. Leave it for 4-12 hours and then vacuum. Repeat weekly for 3-4 weeks. DE is often used as a natural pesticide for flea control on pets & their bedding.
