Feverfew Tincture- Organic, Herbal Care

Feverfew leaves and flowers are harvested in pristine wild open areas away from people and farms. The leaves and flowers are harvested at their peak for optimum freshness then infused in olive oil for 4-6 weeks.

Tinctures are concentrated, liquid forms of herbal medicine that are easy to assimilate. Take doses in tea or water. If you're concerned about the alcohol, tinctures used in hot water will let the alcohol evaporate off.

Feverfew tincture is taken for the prevention of migraines & headaches, arthritis, fevers, muscle tension, and pain. It's also used to lower blood pressure, lessen stomach irritation, stimulate the appetite and to improve digestion and kidney function. It has been used for colitis, dizziness, tinnitus and menstrual problems.

Directions: add 30 drops 2-3 times a day to a glass of water. Shake well before using.

Feverfew should not be taken during pregnancy as it can cause contractions.

Feverfew is similar to aspirin and other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, it is best not to take both at the same time. As with aspirin feverfew should not be taken if you are breastfeeding.

Shelf life is 5 years. Comes in a 2oz amber-colored glass bottle.
