Under Eye Salve- Organic, Reduce Puffy Eyes, Dark Circles And Fine Lines

This under-eye salve specifically addresses the delicate skin underneath the eye to reduce puffiness and dark circles, deeply moisturize and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

Dark circles under the eyes are actually blue-ish veins that show through this thin skin, whereas puffiness is due to fluid accumulation. This can be caused by genetics, lack of sleep, nutritional deficiencies, allergies, stress, excess salt intake or thyroid conditions. 

This salve is in a 1 oz tin. Essential oil free.

Shea butter

Shea butter is a very gentle ingredient and can be used on sensitive skin. It is a natural moisturizer that helps retain moisture, making the skin soft and smooth. The fatty acids in shea butter lubricate the skin and create a barrier that keeps moisture in, which is particularly beneficial for those with drier skin. It contains vitamins A and E, which are important anti-aging agents that protect skin cells from free radicals that can lead to premature aging and dull-looking skin. 

Coconut oil

Coconut oil has anti-viral, anti-bacterial and antimicrobial properties, making it great for cleansing the skin. Coconut oil is highly moisturizing and rich in saturated fats and essential amino acids, that can benefit skin. Coconut oil has the ability to boost the level of antioxidants and collagen in our body, and both play an important role in the natural regeneration and repair process of our skin.

Rosehip oil

It contains a wealth of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that can help nourish and hydrate the skin. It may also reduce the visible signs of aging and brightens and evens out the skin, regenerates and heals, and helps with anti-aging, elasticity and collagen production. Rosehip oil is beneficial for all skin types.

Beeswax

Beeswax has anti-inflammatory properties, is high in vitamin A and can work as a natural exfoliator. Using beeswax on the face will provide hydration, reduce signs of aging and help clear skin blemishes. Beeswax contains antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that are beneficial for the skin. It helps to retain moisture, protect against the sun's harmful rays, and reduce inflammation.

Directions

Scoop a very small amount onto a pinkie or ring finger (a little of this goes a LONG way). Apply it gently to the under-eye area in an upward motion, taking care to not get it in the eye itself.

It is recommended to use under-eye salve as part of a nightly routine (rather than in the morning); it is very rich in moisturizing butters and can take a while to soak into the skin.
